15 Apr 15 Turnitin access restored

Turnitin is now accessible to instructors and students via single sign-on.

Turnitin IVLE Workbin integration will be restored by 1300 hrs today (Wed 15 April).

If you have Workbin integration issues or Turnitin account issues (missing classes, assignments or papers), please refer to our post.

Once again, we apologise for this lapse in service.

CIT is working with Turnitin to ensure that this issue does not recur.

 

27 Feb 15 Disconnecting Windows XP from NUS Network
Dear Students,
 
On 8 April 2014, Microsoft ended their support for Windows XP. As Microsoft no longer provides security updates for the Operating System, this poses a security risk to the University. Hence, to mitigate this risk, the University will be disconnecting all Windows XP machines in the NUS network.
 
With effect from 16 March 2015, those who are still using a Windows XP machine will no longer be able to connect to the University’s network. You can purchase new PCs or notebooks with the latest operating system of either Windows 7 or Windows 8.
